Meet Founder + Army Veteran

Kyle Harris was lovingly referred to as “Mr. Fix It”
by friends and family at a very young age. In 1999 he
began his first trade program in electrical and worked as
a journeyman for Langhorne Electrical Company.

In 2004 he began 12 years of honorable service in the 276th Engineer Battalion serving in direct roles in administration and combat engineering. He deployed to Afghanistan in 2009 where he played a critical role in both the construction and deconstruction of troop housing, bridges, roadways and munitions where he received numerous awards for his service.

Upon returning to the United States, Kyle attended Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated with a double major in Homeland Security/ Emergency Preparedness and Criminal Justice from the L. Douglas Wilder School of Government and Public Affairs. After hanging up the uniform in 2018, Kyle felt that his education, discipline and experience was the proper framework for a professional return to his passion - building and improving. This would be the early beginning of MPR.

In order to bring each residential customer the best service, Kyle sought to meet the highest industry standards from day one. As a result MPR is vetted and recognized by the National Veteran Owned Business Association (NaVOBA). Kyle is an active member of the American Hospital Association, LeTip International and The American Society of Healthcare Engineers. Kyle currently holds active certifications in construction supervision, EPA-lead safety, hazardous materials and mold mitigation. He has packaged this education and standards into an affordable service that sets him apart from other contractors in the residential and commercial market.
